Caring for Dry Winter Skin
Winter is hard on skin. Dry air, hot showers, and heated rooms all pull moisture out, and by February a lot of us feel tight and flaky no matter what we do.
Three things are usually doing the damage at once: cold wind outside, a furnace running non-stop inside, and hot showers that strip natural oils along with the day's grime. How to do it
- Pat skin partly dry after a warm, not scalding, shower.
- Smooth on the lotion while skin is still slightly damp.
- Follow with a thin layer of body oil to seal it in.
- Repeat morning and night on the driest spots like shins and elbows.

Do I really need both a lotion and an oil?
